Margin marks the work and drafts the feedback, Marlo answers questions inside your Moodle, and Daybook keeps the record of each class. The platform puts all three in one school at one price. Prices are in US dollars, billed to each school on its own. Show prices in Canadian dollars

Margin starts free: sign up with an email, no card needed, and a limited number of papers are marked free. Marlo can be tried on its page with a sample course. Margin, Marlo and the platform bill from the day you choose them; Daybook starts on its own site, as its section says.

Can we try it before we pay?

Yes. Margin starts free: sign up with an email and no card, and a limited number of papers are marked free, with no time limit and everything the School size carries. The app shows how many are left, and each school gets them once. When they are used, choose a size and enter a card to keep marking, and billing starts that day. Marlo can be tried on its page, where it answers a few questions about a sample course; a school buys a size to have it installed in its Moodle. The platform has no free papers: its billing starts on the day you subscribe. Daybook is signed up for on its own site, daybook.elevategrade.com, and its section on this page says how it starts.

Which Margin size do I need?

Count the submissions you mark in a month. One teacher with a few classes usually fits Starter at 50. A department that marks essays needs Pro, which adds essay marking and 3 seats. School is for a whole school, with 10 seats and 500 a month. You can change size from the billing page at any time, and the difference is prorated on the next invoice.

Which Marlo size do I need?

Marlo’s sizes are set by the school’s assistant credits a month: 5,000 on Starter, 25,000 on Pro and 50,000 on School. A typical message is one credit, an escalated conversation costs none, and administrators can cap what any one student uses. Starter is sized for a tutoring room or one department, Pro for a school getting started, and School for the whole school.

How is Daybook priced?

For each teacher, each month, billed monthly, in US dollars: Starter $29, Pro $79 and School $59. Daybook bills in Canadian dollars when you sign up from Canada and in US dollars from anywhere else. Every teacher has their own allowance each month: Starter, 10 hours of recording and 25 AI questions and recipe runs; Pro, 30 hours of recording and 60 AI questions and recipe runs; School, 20 hours of recording and 50 AI questions and recipe runs. School is for 10 teachers or more. Daybook has no yearly price, and the platform includes Daybook School for up to 10 teachers.

What does the platform include?

Margin at its School size, Marlo at its School size and Daybook School for up to 10 teachers, more by arrangement, for one school, with ElevateSIS when it ships, at $857 a month. Bought apart they come to $1,193 a month, so the platform saves $336 a month. Billing starts on the day you subscribe. Then a person sets the school up: Marlo installed in your Moodle, your Margin workspace set to the School size, and the school’s Daybook made for its teachers, with no Daybook subscription of its own. For more than 10 Daybook teachers, get in touch.

Can we pay for a year at a time?

Yes, for Margin and Marlo: a yearly plan is charged once for the year. Margin’s yearly prices cost up to 21% less than paying monthly, and a year of Marlo costs about the same as 10 months. The platform is billed monthly, and so is Daybook, which has no yearly price.

How is a marked submission counted?

One credit marks one submission. Marking a submission again, after you correct its transcript, uses another credit. Credits reset at the start of each billing period, and unused ones do not roll over. At the monthly cap, marking pauses until you top up, change size or the period renews. Reviewing and handing back work already marked is never blocked.

What happens when the credits run out?

Marking pauses and the app says so. You can buy a top-up pack from the billing page (25 credits for $11, 100 credits for $39, 250 credits for $88), move to a bigger size, or wait for the month to renew. Packs never expire and are spent only after the month’s allowance.

Can several teachers share one plan?

Yes, up to the size’s seats. Each grader has their own login and can create tasks, upload work, review marks and sign them. Billing and branding stay with the owner of the school’s account.

Does Marlo work with our LMS?

Marlo works with Moodle today, and no other LMS. A person installs the plugin in your instance and reads in the documents and courses you choose.

We run several schools. What do we do?

Each school has its own address, its own plan and its own invoices. For one arrangement over all of them, with one agreement and one invoice, contact us and we come back with a proposal.

How do I cancel?

Margin from the billing page in the app; Daybook from its own billing page, on daybook.elevategrade.com; Marlo and the platform from the billing portal, where the email on your invoices gets a sign-in link. A plan runs to the end of the period you have paid for, and it does not renew. The free papers need no cancelling: no card is taken for them.

Start free today.

Margin marks a limited number of papers free, with no card, and Marlo can be tried on its page. Or tell us about the school and we set it up with you.
